Juicy beef dumplings filled with carrots, cilantro, and onions, seasoned with five-spice powder and soy sauce.

Instructions

  1. 1

Mix ground beef with light soy sauce and five-spice powder. Stir in one direction for 5-10 minutes until the mixture becomes sticky.

  2. 2

Finely chop the onion and ginger, then mix with sesame oil and set aside.

  3. 3

Grate the carrots. Heat some cooking oil in a pan and sauté the carrots until cooked. Add salt as usual for stir-frying, then let cool.

  4. 4

Finely chop the cilantro and set aside.

  5. 5

Once the carrots have cooled, add the onion mixture to the beef and mix well. Then, add the cooled carrots and cilantro to the beef mixture. Taste and adjust salt if necessary.

  6. 6

Wrap the filling in dumpling wrappers.

  7. 7

Cook the dumplings by boiling or steaming until done.
