Prepare all the ingredients.

Thaw the steak and pat dry with paper towels, then cut into finger-sized strips.

Marinate the steak strips with 1 tbsp light soy sauce, 1 tbsp cooking oil, 1 tbsp cornstarch, and a pinch of black pepper.

Mix well by hand and let it marinate for 15 minutes.

Peel the potato and cut into finger-sized strips, rinse to remove excess starch, and drain.

Heat a generous amount of oil in a Maxim non-stick pan, then add the potato strips.
